The General Labs Cloud (GLC) is an online platform for people with unique skills, expertise and knowledge to open their own labs for research and development (R&D). Based on this online platform, which looks like a piece of cloud in the sky, researchers can move to anywhere on the ground without loss of access to unique resources such as facilities, techniques, collaborators and funding, which are crucial to success of their research projects and their career development. More importantly, GLC platform provides a mechanism to unleash researchers' talent in R&D by directing their major efforts toward doing research, instead of writing grants, and by offering opportunities for their diverse careers to develop at their own pace without harsh constraints in tenue track.

Concept of the General Labs Cloud (GLC)

By opening a lab (or labs) on the GLC platform, you can unleash your talent and build a career path of smooth development for yourself. You can provide products (software or hardware),  offer services (data acquisition/processing or expert consulting), conduct collaborations, and launch your own research projects. To help you grow with your GLC labs, the GLC platform provides you with a community of GLC labs openned by global researchers, an access to all of these labs, and a full range of services for preparation of project or grant proposals  including access to fundraising for these proposals. 

These functions of the GLC platform are currently under construction and will be gradually  released in the near future.
